♥ Our little baby bunny we found ♥

I went out to water the garden on Friday and Kobe was so excited to see a lizard in the garden....Which isn't anything NEW for me..because every time I water a lizard always runs up the wall...

David was out there and went to look at it..I'm so glad he did...I was about to flood the pumpkin and zucchini plants....David saw something move and was worried it was a snake..Then he thought it was some kind of a rodent...

Come to find out it was a baby bunny..We are thinking it had to of just been born..The Mother was no where to be found...So, we picked him up and put him in a nice warm box...

We decided to find out as much information as we could on this little guy and found out that the Mother only feeds once a day...

We thought maybe she was taking care of this little guy so we put him back...I then got worried about him..We had a HUGE storm..Thunder, lightning and lots of rain...a newborn in a storm like that...

So, David and I went out in the dark....with flashlights in the pouring rain to find him and came up with NOTHING...I was sad...

Yesterday, we found our little guy huddled under a pumpkin leaf and just hanging out..We have not seen his momma so we just don' t know..

So, we picked him up and put him back in the box...We have been taking care of him.

I have grown quite attached to this little guy and it's just so hard NOT to hold him. Because he is wild we need to keep him as wild as possible so he has every little chance for survival once we free him.

His eyes are still shut so he is under 10 days old...He is so tiny and cute...

Kobe has been saying numerous prayers for him.

Today, I am worried about our little guy!! I have named him Henry. I'm not sure why...It just stuck and so our little guy is now Henry...

Henry, I thought for sure died after I hand fed it after church today. He was NOT moving and acting like he was dead..aaahhh I was sad..I just decided to leave him alone...He did move from one side of the box to the other..So, that is encouraging..But, I'm not 100% positive how long he will live. If he lives it will be because of Kobe's faith...

In all honesty...I want to see this little guy make it and join all the other bunnies out in the wild...

I get mad every time I see a rabbit in our yard but this little guy just warms my heart...I will be very sad if he just can't make it..I'm clueless what to do for him..I have been reading up on it but I'm just not sure what we are doing will be the right thing...

He is sure adorable!!! I wish our little Henry the best!!
